Prof. Andreas Roth holds the Chair of German Legal History and Civil Law at the University of Mainz and conducts research in the history of family and criminal law as well as family law. In this interview, he provides fascinating insights into his academic career, his doctorate and habilitation and, in particular, his diverse activities as a university lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of Mainz.
