Professor Dr. Thomas Hoeren welcomed high-ranking guests from the University of Tbilisi to the ITM at the end of April. The Dean of Law at Tbilisi State University (TEU), Professor Dr. Tamar Zarandia, and her colleague Professor Dr. Sergi Jorbenadze spent three days in Münster to explore opportunities for cooperation between the Faculty of Law and the ITM. In particular, they discussed the new additional Law of the Digital Economy course, in which the Faculty of Law in Tbilisi intends to participate. They also discussed with the Rector and the Chancellor of the Academy of Arts how the idea of a kind of law clinic, which is gaining momentum worldwide, could be established in Georgia. The two high-ranking academics also took part in the faculty’s lecturers’ dinner and enjoyed a tour of the sights of Münsterland. The three very successful days were concluded with excellent new plans for intensified cooperation.
