Reminder: Lecture by Dr. David Bomhard

Dr. David Bomhard’s lecture on “Contractual pitfalls in data trading” will be held again this winter semester via Zoom. Unfortunately, the acoustics were not satisfactory last semester and Mr. Bomhard kindly agreed to give the lecture again. The lecture will take place on 20.11.23 from 14-16 o’clock via Zoom

Dr. David Bomhard studied both law and physics and is a lawyer specializing in all legal issues relating to AI, data economy and IT law. His particular expertise makes him an expert in the field of AI and cloud projects as well as IT outsourcing in the regulated environment, and he recently founded the boutique law firm Aitava for AI and IT law in Munich together with Dr. Jonas Siglmüller. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Bomhard is a lecturer for IT and data law at the University of Passau and trains specialist lawyers for IT law. Handelsblatt lists him as one of Germany’s best lawyers in IT law in 2022 and Legal 500 also lists the young lawyer as a “Rising Star” in the Information Technology and Digitalization category. We are delighted that Mr. Bomhard has found the time to share his knowledge of data license agreements with us.
