Professor Dra. Angela Kretschmann (Brazil) gave a highly inspiring lecture on current problems of Brazilian copyright law to more than 40 students and lawyers on July 1, 2024. She also dealt in detail with legal problems caused by AI and fundamental ethical and political issues of intellectual property law.
Doctorate in Law from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2006). Master’s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC/RS, 1999). Research director and lecturer at CESUCA (www.cesuca.edu.br). She has been a contract lecturer at Unisinos since 1992 and teaches Intellectual Property Law (EAD) and Information Technology Law as part of the Information Security course.
