Data Act and cloud switching

In this episode, we take a deep dive into the world of cloud services and look at Articles 23 to 31 of the Data Act, which deal specifically with cloud switching. These new regulations aim to remove barriers to switching between different cloud providers and create more flexibility for businesses and consumers.

Together, we will analyze the most important provisions of these articles and discuss what impact they could have on companies’ IT strategies. Research associates Johannes Müller and Marc-Philipp Geiselmann take a look at the opportunities opened up by simplified cloud switching and discuss the potential challenges in implementing these regulations.
