For the nineteenth time in March 2019, the civil law department of the Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law under the direction of Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren will be organizing the unique journalist training for lawyers in Germany.
Law students and young lawyers learn the basic techniques of journalistic writing. Language and rhetoric are trained in a practical way. In particular, the practical ability, which is also relevant for lawyers and judges, to convey legal facts in a generally understandable manner and to transfer them to the public is taught. Specialist editors from renowned publishing houses, print and radio media and press spokespersons from the legal field give theoretical and practical introductions to their respective professional fields. In 2019, additional training will be supported by WDR Studio Münster, C.H.Beck-Verlag and Westfälische Nachrichten Münster, among others. This also gives participants the opportunity to make valuable contacts.
The coveted training course will take place from Monday, 11 March 2019 to Friday, 15 March.2019 all day.
