From October 5 to 6, 2022, we had the pleasure to welcome Lukas Faymann, research associate at the Institute for Innovation and Digitization in Law headed by Prof. Dr. Forgó at the University of Vienna, at ITM.
The visit started with a cozy get-together among the staff, which provided an introduction to a lively exchange about scientific research at the partner universities. On the next day, this exciting discourse about differences and similarities of the legal and educational systems – e.g. the implementation of the EU data protection law, questions of provider liability in the case of Hate Speech or the realization of a PhD project – could be continued during a guided tour of the institute. From the Leonardo Campus, we went on a short sightseeing tour through Münster in the most beautiful sunshine, which included a visit to the Schlossgarten, a tour of the Juridicum, and a sporty walk around the Aasee. We thank Lukas Feymann for the exciting insights and enriching conversations and look forward to the next visit of our colleagues from Vienna!
