In the upcoming winter semester 2026/27, Prof. Dr. Thomas will hold a seminar on the “Best of” of the ITM. In terms of content, the students will deal with the doctoral theses of ITM scientists. The seminar is expected to take place in November 2026(06.11.2026) as a one-day block event on the premises of the ITM.
This seminar gives you the opportunity to take a comprehensive look at one of the almost 300 doctoral theses written by the ITM (civil law department). You decide which topic suits you best. Examine the thesis critically for errors, weaknesses or strengths. Use the thesis as a starting point for your own research. Examine the current relevance of the research question.
The topics of the doctoral theses can be found at https://www.itm.nrw/forschung/doktorandinnen/veroeffentlichte-doktorarbeiten/. The choice of a particular work is up to you. The preliminary meeting will take place on 23.06.2026 at 4 pm via Zoom .
