The Art Law Clinic Münster is pleased to announce the publication of the third edition of its guide. The guide is aimed specifically at artists and offers clear, practical guidance on legal issues that regularly arise in the day-to-day life of an artist.
The new edition has been extensively revised and expanded to include additional practical guidance. It places a special focus on contract law: The guide provides an overview of key aspects of drafting and entering into contracts, such as those related to exhibitions, commissions, collaborations, sales, or partnerships with galleries and institutions.
The third edition thus provides artists with a helpful foundation for identifying legal issues early on and understanding them more clearly. The goal of the guide is to present legal topics in an accessible way and to make it easier to acquire basic legal knowledge in the field of art.
The authors of the third edition are Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren and Nora-Marie Fuchs. With this publication, the Art Law Clinic Münster continues its commitment to supporting artists in navigating legal challenges and making practical information in the field of art law accessible.
