Academic work is an original component of law studies. Nevertheless, many students find it difficult to adhere to academic standards in their term papers and seminar papers. Even in academic qualification papers such as dissertations, it is not uncommon to find considerable formal errors. The ITM staff have therefore used the semester break to extensively revise the institute’s own formal guidelines. The guide is intended to serve as an aid for students and doctoral candidates and aims to help improve the academic quality of term papers, seminar papers and doctoral theses. From now on, the guide can be accessed here and is available for download to all interested parties.
