Prof. Said Gulyamov is a renowned legal scholar and educator with extensive experience in the fields of corporate law and cyber law. Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Prof. Gulyamov holds a dual degree in economics and law from Tashkent State Economic University and Edinburgh Napier University. He also earned a Master’s degree in law from the Tashkent State Institute of Law.
Throughout his career, Prof. Gulyamov has held various positions in both the public and private sectors, including roles at the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Department of Internal Audit), the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Department of Criminal Investigation), and Tashkent City Hall (Vice-Governor: coordinator of enforcement bodies of Tashkent city). His diverse background has given him a unique perspective on the legal and economic landscapes of Uzbekistan and beyond.
In academia, Prof. Gulyamov has served as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor at the Department of Private International Law at Tashkent State Institute of Law. He has been a Professor at the Department of Private International Law at Tashkent State University of Law since 2006, and he currently serves as the Head of the Department of Cyber Law at the same institution.
He is the founder of the “Scientific School of Corporate Law” established in 2003 and the “Scientific School of Cyber Law” founded in 2019. During his scientific and pedagogical activity, Gulyamov Said Saidakhrarovich supervised over 100 masters (LLM), 30 candidates of sciences (PhD) and 7 doctors of sciences (DSc). Author and co-author of more than 250 scientific papers published in national and foreign publications.
