Six groups explored copyright and AI training; liability for AI-generated output; AI regulation and public law; AI in legal and corporate decision-making; access to data under the EU Data Act; and the boundaries of human creativity in AI-generated works. The program brought together issues that are too often discussed in isolation. How effective are reservations of rights against AI training? How should courts evaluate AI-generated evidence? What does the business judgment rule mean for directors who rely on AI? And how can class-action lawsuits address harm caused by AI systems? The seminar provided an opportunity to examine these questions across jurisdictions, challenge assumptions, and advance the participants\u2019 research through discussion.
