The Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law (ITM) is dedicated to this challenge with a particular focus on <strong>linking theoretical legal doctrine with practical application experience<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\"><span style=\"font-size: 110%;\">The current discussion on the legal framework for artificial intelligence, which has gained new momentum in particular with the adoption of Regulation (EU) 2024\/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council on harmonized rules for artificial intelligence <strong>(AI Regulation, \u201cAI Act\u201d)<\/strong>, often suffers from a significant lack of practical application experience. The qualification of certain AI systems as high-risk systems in accordance with Art. 6 in conjunction with Annex III of the AI Regulation.
